Description
The Carter brothers were once inseparable – five boys, one band, and a bond that seemed unbreakable. But it’s been ten years since the band broke up and even longer since they left the family ranch and the wide-open skies of Autumn Falls. Fame, secrets and time have left cracks that no one wants to face.
For Bella, the Carters were her first friends and her first heartbreak. Especially Logan Carter, the boy she loved in the quiet moments between music and long summers spent in the apple orchard.
Now tragedy pulls them all back to Autumn Falls. The brothers are fractured, the past impossible to escape, and the spark between Bella and Logan burns as dangerously as ever.
Autumn Falls is a story of family, first love, and the inescapable pull of the place you once called home.
One Direction meets The Pumpkin Spice Café!This is Logan's story. Don't miss out on discovering what happens to Noah, Brodie and Ethan in the next books in the series…

Autumn Falls is the first book in a new series. This was such a beautiful and brilliantly written novel. I couldn't put it down and I read it in one sitting. I loved the small town place setting and there was a great cast of characters. I highly recommend it and I look forward to reading more by the author.
💝 Thank you to Netgalley, the author and publisher for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
This book has no business being this good!! I read 50% in one go and the other 50% sad that it was coming to an end. If you love messy characters with a toxic lifestyle, but make it adults, then this is perfect!
The main characters were likeable and their arcs were satisfying. I warmed to Bella quicker than Logan but I loved them both the same. The brothers ans family vibes seem more realistic, where not everyone is happy and there are bridges to build.
I felt the pacing was a little off, either too fast in the first 25% because I really wanted to see more heartbreak from the carter's, and then too slow in the end because I really wanted them to be together!!! But I still really enjoyed it and 5 stars for vibes. I shall be continuing with the series because that epilogue was chefs kiss.
The prologue drew me in straight away and I got lost in the story immediately, I didn’t put my kindle down until I’d finished every last page.
The complexities of family relationships was really at the heart of this story alongside one of the most perfect second chance romances that I’ve ever read.
I’m literally in love with the Carters ( also Bella) and Autumn Falls and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series and find out more about each brother, especially Ethan as he’s intrigued me.
This story is the perfect autumn read.
Autumn Falls by Taylor Gray is a heart‑tugging small‑town romance that brings back the simplicity and pain of first love. In this opening to the Carter Brothers series, the five brothers who once rocked stages as a band now return home to Autumn Falls, fractured by fame and time, and Logan’s rekindled connection with Bella, his childhood friend and longtime crush, serves as both balm and battlefield for buried emotions. Gray does a lovely job balancing the nostalgia of summers under apple orchards with the scars of unspoken words and distant ambitions. The chemistry between Logan and Bella feels earned even through the awkwardness, and the familial dynamics add layers beyond just the romantic thread. Some moments drift toward cliché, and at times the weight of past secrets threatens to tip into melodrama, but the emotional core remains sincere and compelling. Autumn Falls is the kind of romance that lingers, not just for its sparks, but for its ache.
Thank you to netgalley!
I have to say 5/5 stars, I am not disappointed!
I think this was the book I absolutely needed to read just because it gave it all, the drama and the lost and even the found family as well. No family is ever perfect but the carter's for sure would understand how dysfunctional life would get.
With all the drama between the brothers and Bella and all the glam and fame it surely would come down as soon as it blew up but at what cost would it all be? With every choice comes a consequence but what to do when theres an even bigger story besides what you see in the glam shots?
I loved this story of the brothers and Bella and im sure the rest will be just as good too, with a good side of mystery but love but also realism. This book gave it all. I enjoyed reading about Logan and Bella and hopefully the rest of the story will be just as good, no complaints from me.
Thank you NetGalley and One More Chapter for the ARC of Autumn Falls by Taylor Gray.
This was a last minute ARC for me that popped up and I'm so glad I gave it the time. Had I not been struck with Flu I likely would have finished it within a day with how much I enjoyed it.
Autumn Falls is the first in a series by Taylor Gray which follows the Carter brothers following the death of one of the brothers. This book follows primarily Logan and Bella with touching upon other characters. We see both struggle against demons from their pasts and trying to work out their futures in the wake of Jack's death.
This story was heartwarming, raw and believable and what I loved most was the amount of male emotional discussion and growth. This is rare for this style of book I've found and it was refreshing and done well. The romance did not overshadow the plot as this was only part of the tale and I appreciated that it was closed door romance.
I really loved this book. When is the next one out???
Autumn Falls ended up being a lot more emotional than I expected. With the pretty cover and small-town ranch setting, I thought I was in for a cute romcom, but this book definitely goes deeper. It deals with grief, complicated family ties, and the kind of past mistakes that don’t just disappear. So while it has those cozy fall vibes, it’s definitely more drama than fluff.
I liked Bella and Carter a lot, and their second chance story pulled me in, but I wished their relationship had a little more build-up and payoff. Some parts of the story moved too quickly, while other parts dragged, and I kept wanting more details about the brothers since they’re clearly going to be important later.
That said, I flew through this in one sitting because the family drama kept me hooked, and I love a messy, emotional small-town romance. It’s a solid start to a new series, and I’m curious to see where Taylor Gray takes the Carter brothers next.
4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Autumn Falls really surprised me. I picked it up expecting something light and cozy, but it turned out to be much deeper a story about love, loss, and learning to start over when life doesn’t go as planned. Taylor Gray has such a gentle way of writing emotion; it never feels forced, just honest and raw.
The setting and tone matched perfectly soft, melancholic, and hopeful all at once. I found myself slowing down to reread certain lines because they just hit right. The characters felt real, the relationships messy but meaningful, and the emotions lingered long after I finished.
It’s the kind of book that sneaks up on you quiet at first, but full of heart. A beautiful read for anyone who loves emotional stories about healing and second chances.

Wow! This is my new book addiction. When does this author release more books? Why did the book need to end? This was so smart and nicely written that I read it all in one sitting. Hats off!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC. All opinions are my own.

Bella and Logan has my whole heart for this book and i just felt so rooted to my seat as i read their story both together and as individuals. i very quickly cared about how they were going to all come out of this. and i very quickly needed them to be ok! which as in real life i came to realise this might not happen. or not now. which has spurred me on even more to want to read more of this series and definitely more from this author. this books was so much more than i thought it was going to be. i thought it would be a romance with the usual deeper heart moments. but it was so much more. it was life. it was the events of this family and this woman. it was what had moved them away from each other but also what bought them together. and boy that was hard, heavy, tragic way to reunite. but then what? what now? well i was here for learning every moment of what next alongside this great set of characters.
as i said Taylor drew me right in so i very quickly cared about these folk. and Taylor has written such insight into the characters we find in this book. they are known, they are real, they feel like we are seeing this group going through this in an authentic sometimes messy, sometimes beautiful way.
i couldn't get enough of this book and i just wanted to sit, stay sitting with it from beginning to end. and so i did.
