Robin Sharma surprised me with some of his ideas. For example, he told his audience to start the day doing something uncomfortable, such as press ups or polishing your boots.
He also pointed out many eye opening things and his recollection of Michaelango using a block of marble that several artists had rejected to do his masterpiece, David, is instructive.
Altogether I may not always agree with this audiobook but I learned a lot of things which I did agree with.
Highly recommended.

This is an unbelievably inspiring short audiobook - it absolutely packs a punch and gets the reader through some major blocks in their creativity. It's is so relatable.

With practical exercises it really helps focus the mind and maximise potential gains.

This is not a book I feel I will listen to more than once (though even on the first listen I am committed to get back into my creative practices again!

This a brilliant little quick read that takes us through some great rituals that can help us to improve the quality of not only our working life, but also our personal life too.

I love how this was broken down into sections that could be listened to bit by bit - also could be easily returned to whenever you need a boost or to go over a particular section.

I actually listened to this in one go as it was such a short read.

I wasn't sure how this would work at first as some of the sections are meant to be worked on and that means sitting with the content of the chapter and working through it's elements and applying them to our own lives - I believe that there is a workbook that can accompany this book.
But the way that the narrator incorporates this into the audio was really well done, showing which questions to tackle and with a clear indication where to pause the audio to work through each question.

I liked that the author didn't relate this to a specific genre of people - so although I did feel that it would be more aimed at the younger worker, there were many elements that I could take into my life too - and the author made reference to a wide range of professions and life goals.

This is a great addition to any bookshelf and I think would be one of those books that I could dip into over and over again.

It was great to hear the author narrate this as you could really feel that passion and belief as they spoke and this made it a motivating and uplifting read.
