This is a great book. As a coach and a counsellor the content was not new to me but it was laid out very nicely. The content was well explained with useful diagrams and I thought the appendix - which dealt with specific scenarios - was particularly helpful. If you have already read a lot in this area it might not give you further insight, but it will give you lots of helpful advice that is well collated. Thanks to NetGalley and Octopus Publishing for the ARC.

When I first opened The Overthinking Cure, my immediate response was just to skip to the end and read through the coping strategies. But, I was intrigued to read through the whole thing, and I was glad that I did. The book covers the reasons why overthinking happens in the first place, which is essential context to helping yourself break out of the bad habits. The strategies in the later part of the book are straightforward, practical and much easier to implement than other books I have read.
The Overthinking Cure is a great resource if you are struggling with overthinking, or want to understand more so that you can help others.
