A slow-burn, fake relationship, age-gap Christmas romance with a twist.

When Lucas’s boyfriend Julian gives him an ultimatum – invite his estranged, homophobic father to his first Christmas with Julian’s family, or end their relationship – he has no idea what to do.

That is until his absentee landlord, Sid stumbles into the flat at 2am, drunk, recently dumped and in need of somewhere to spend Christmas.

After sobering up and apologising for turning up to what was once his mum’s flat in his drunken state, Sid reluctantly agrees to be Lucas’ Dad for the week. So long as he doesn’t have to go home and face his cheating partner of 16 years.

The two of them head off to the Yorkshire countryside, but it soon becomes clear that working class Sid doesn’t fit in well with Julian’s posh family…and neither does Lucas. As the two men get closer and share the events that led them to this mad week, are they forging a relationship that’s purely platonic, or is Sid more of a Daddy than a father figure?
