I read this to my 6 year old to see what he thought.
First off, we loved the characters, they were funny and the fact they were animals who kept getting into bother made it all the more fun.
We loved that it rhymed and was fun to listen to as well.
The colourful pictures were definitely an added extra as it keeps his attention more.
My son loves a bit of toilet humour, so the fact this book mentioned stinky pongs made him chuckle out loud.
Well done on a great book.

This is a very funny children’s story book for early readers. The book shows all the ways different animals would fare in staff positions at a school. The book works really well to deliver an hilarious and silly story line, which is paired with beautiful illustrations. My daughter really enjoyed this book. Highly recommended.

Imagine a school where all the staff were animals! Animals who couldn't help but cause little disasters.

You Can't take an Elephant into School by Patricia Cleveland- Peck in another winner in the "You Can't Take an Elephant ..." series. This time we are in school with a host of brilliant animals including : musical marmosets, a poor-sighted medical mole and a scientific koala.

Wonderful rhyming prose and with vocabulary that will broaden young readers and listeners range of word use and comprehension. Perfect for bedtime or a EYFS or KS1 class read.

David Tazzyman's illustrations are absolute winners and packed with fun details and plenty of humour.

Another great addition to a popular and superb series for under 7s and one I'll be recommending to friends and colleagues in Primary schools.

Thank you to Bloomsbury Children's books and NetGalley for the advance copy.
