A Note From the Publisher
Aaralyn Adams writes short stories full of irony. Her books fall between 6 - 50 pages in length. With a writing style reminiscent of the "Golden Age" her short stories offer atmospheric story telling and twisty narratives. As a resident of The Woodlands, Texas for the past nineteen years and a recent empty nester, she now writes full time. Her only authentic social media presence can be found on TikTok, and all of her books can be found on Amazon.

The Fortunate is a thrilling, whodunnit-style short story centered around an elite group of friends celebrating a birthday. The atmospheric yacht setting and the distinct characters completely come to life as the story unfolds, shifting through each person's theory about what truly happened on board. As secrets are exposed, it becomes clear that someone paid the ultimate price.
This was a quick, suspenseful read, and I can’t wait to see if we get more stories from this author in the future!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher, Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op,for providing an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was an amazing short read. The suspense was everything. It was so much unfolded in such a short time. I did not see that twist coming.
