Okay, wow… what a read!

I absolutely loved Illusion in Ink! From the moment I started reading, I was completely pulled into the story and found myself not wanting to put it down. Keilah Jude has such a wonderful way of creating a world that feels so vivid and real.

I loved getting lost in the magic, the realms, the battles between good and evil, and all the details that made this world feel so immersive. The pacing was fantastic too, there was always something happening, and I found myself flying through the pages because I needed to know what was going to happen next.

But my favourite part of this story was definitely Ophelia and Colby. I absolutely loved watching their relationship develop throughout the book. Their connection felt genuine, and I loved seeing the way they grew together as the story unfolded. Their dynamic brought so much emotion to the story and had me completely invested in them.

This was such an enjoyable fantasy read, and I cannot wait to see what comes next from Keilah. Another amazing book from an author who has definitely gained a forever fan!

A world full of pixies and faeries?! I'm in!

This story was fast-paced and kept me entertained. It has the classic good vs. evil trope and a different kind of enemies to lovers twists that wasn't the traditional trope. It was nice to have it mixed up a bit with a fresh take on the enemies to lovers trope. I like that the author put their own spin on things while still giving similar vibes but in a new way. It keeps you on your toes while reading because you don't know what is going to happen next.

Also the enemy in this book was so well fleshed out. I HATED them. It was nice to actually hate a villain. Lately books have been making villains the "good guys" and this was refreshing to literally despise the bad guy. I can't remember the last time I hated somebody in a book so much. Well done on making the reader DESPISE the enemy.

Ophelia is darling. I think we can all relate to her on some level. She has me rooting for her.

I liked the fantasy plot too. It felt so fresh for the fantasy genre. I was interested in the romance, the fantasy, and the relationships in this book are top tier. I felt the chemistry between Ophelia and her man the moment they met. And King Arvid? Favorite. Also everything is so layered! On the surface, things seem to mean one thing but the more you think about them it is clear that things are not what they appear to be!

I enjoyed the story overall. I also do want to say I know the author! I'm so excited about this book. Thanks for letting me read it!

Illusion in Ink completely captivated me from the very first chapter. The concept felt fresh and imaginative, and I loved how the author blended magic, mystery, and emotion into a story that kept me turning the pages. The writing flowed effortlessly, making it easy to become immersed in both the world and the characters.

The cast was wonderfully developed, and I especially enjoyed watching their relationships grow as the story unfolded. Every new revelation kept me guessing, and the pacing struck the perfect balance between action, intrigue, and heartfelt moments. This is the kind of fantasy that reminds me why I love the genre so much.

Now onto the book…. WOW! One of my top 5 favorite reads this year. I LOVE Ophelia and the king was so refreshing. So often you see rulers in fantasy books being complete tyrants and horrible to their people, King Arvid was so compassionate and I loved him. I think their dynamic added so much depth to the story.

Such a great YA fantasy read with romance, a great story, and immaculate world building. I binged this book in a day and don’t regret a second of it.

Ok, wow! This was a big 4.5 stars!!!!!! This was another amazing read by Keilah! I just downloaded it today and could not put it down. I love how this author tells a story that grabs ahold and won't let you go. This author definitely has a forever fan.
As l am reading it, it truly plays out like I'm watching a movie. I love the world building with realms, pixies, fairies, kings, battles between good and evil, magic and sacrifices. I love how this is a standalone but yet familiar characters from the previous book are drawn into the story.
The characters are riveting and there are so many dynamics that play out between them with some twists and turns. There was one particular spot that made my jaw drop, but you will need to read it to find out. I loved it!!!
I absolutely cannot wait for the next book to see what plays out!
